Welcome to my website - and my first blog post!

I should preface this post by saying that the reason for the website in the first place was, that 2024 marked the year, that I got my first book - 'This Savage Cold Star' - published (by Pegasus Publishers).

I first started writing back in public school - just stories for essays, or for myself or my friends - most of these I would probably be embarrassed to read these now! And once in a while I would submit a manuscript to several publishers. But 'This Savage Star' was the first manuscript for which I got a publishing offer.

As my FAQ states I am a psychologist by trade, and I have been working as such for nearly 15 by now. I am originally from Denmark, but for the last six or seven years, I have been living and working in Greenland.

My work is a great inspiration for my writing, since I have always been interested in psychological themes, also in literary terms. My goal in terms of my authorship was always to just get one thing published. Just one! Then I would have fulfilled my dreams, I thought. This is still true, though I, naturally, hope that there is more to come!

This website - and this blog in particular - is an attempt to engage a bit with my readers. So feel free to leave a comment!

But the blog also has a second purpose; from time to time I am probably going to share my thoughts and this and that; most likely it is going to be about certain psychological issues, since this remains my main sort of interest, motivation and inspiration. 

But I could also imagine myself writing some commentary or analysis on games, films, and music; especially from a psychological perspective.

In the future, I also hope to have a presence on social media, to a certain extent. But for now, my website will be my main vehicle for having an online presence, and a way of interacting with whomever may be interested in my writing.
